Stephanie Kraft has worked exclusively as a commercial real estate broker for over 20 years; representing the interests of developers, landlords and tenants of commercial space in the Chicago Metropolitan Area. In December 2009 she brought her skills and expertise to Matanky Realty Group.Formerly as principle of the Chicago Commercial Inc., Ms. Kraft focused primarily on retail tenant representation, office acquisition and redevelopment. She has represented a large number of national retail chain stores in their expansion efforts to the Chicagoland area, completing well over 150 retail lease transactions in the area shopping centers and regional malls. She has enjoyed the long term relationships that result from representing multi-store expansions, knowing and actively working with many of the same clients for 10-15 years.Ms. Kraft began her career with Real Estate Consultants Inc., where she gained vast experience in negotiating office leases on behalf of both landlords and tenants. As a tenant representative, her client-base ranged from large non-for-profit organizations to smaller entrepreneurial businesses. Ms. Kraft also oversaw the leasing activity for a portfolio of downtown office properties, negotiating office and retail leases on behalf of the interests of various building owners including large national corporations, foreign ownership, institutional owners, and small limited partnerships.Ms. Kraft has a bachelor degree in Business Administration from Iowa State University. Affiliations include the International Council of Shopping Centers, Commercial Real Estate Women, Commercial Office Leasing Brokers Association, and National Association of Realtors.In her role with Matanky Realty Group, Ms. Kraft will continue to focus on tenant representation and several of the community and Neighborhood centers in the Matanky Realty Group portfolio. Ms. Kraft is a prime example of Matanky Realty Group combining youth and experience to mold a sales team that is knowledgeable and confident in any task they are confronted with, creating stronger neighborhoods through excellent service to the tenants and community.
