Matanky Realty Group is proud to announce the Grand Opening of a new AJ Wright store at the new Bishop Plaza, located at 47th St. & Bishop St. in Chicago, Illinois, the 17th store in the state. This new store has generated approximately 125 new full and part-time positions. The opening ceremonies took place on Thursday, October 26, 2007 beginning at 9:00 a.m. Thousands of well-wishers and new customers were in attendance, with lines that frequently went around the block. Alderman Dorothy Tillman was present to receive a donation to the Chicago Boys & Girls Clubs of America from AJ Wright. The AJ Wright Bear was also on hand to greet members of the community, both old and young. AJ Wright features an extensive selection of shoppers' favorite and modestly priced brand name fashions, footwear and accessories for the entire family; plus size for women; big and tall sizes for men; and home fashions at prices up to 70% less than national discount and chain stores every day prices.
