Terri J. Cox, of Matanky Realty leases 3,300 sq. ft. space in Hazel Crest Center to In Focus. In Focus is a not for profit agency, and at their new location at 17569 South Kedzie Avenue, Hazel Crest, they will provide job training and life skill services to developmentally disabled adults. At Hazel Crest Center, In Focus will primarily provide outsourced contract / piece work labor, supportive employment services with transition coaches and with other curriculum. Reuben Goodwin, Executive Director of Southwest Disabilities Services & Supports says “It was a great experience working with Matanky Realty Group, they bent over backwards to accommodate us”. In Focus will round out the mix of retail and services at Hazel Crest Center. In Focus is scheduled to open January, 2009 and will look to the neighborhood to fill 7 of the 10 anticipated full time positions.
