Matanky Realty Group represented the buyer on the acquisition of Sunnyside Plaza, a 37,000 s.f. shopping center, with an adjacent 1.1 acre lot available for future development, located at 1820-1902 Court Street in Janesville, Wisconsin. The current national tenants are CVS, Family Dollar, Curves and Cousins Sub Shop in addition to King Wok and Paragon Academy, two local tenants at the site. The center shares cross easements with a Chase Bank facility. The asking price was $1,700,000. The purchaser, an Illinois Corporation, acquired the Sunnyside Plaza as part of a 1031 exchange, as the replacement property for the sale of 4600 W. Chicago Avenue in Chicago, a 262,000 s.f. industrial building. Terri Cox of Matanky Realty Group represented the corporation in its acquisition of Sunnyside Plaza and Mike Venable of Coldwell Banker represented the seller of Sunnyside Plaza. Eli Kalman , of Matanky Realty Group, represented the corporation in its disposition of the industrial property.
